Rotary table – A Precision work positioning device used in metalworking, enabling the operator to drill or cut work at exact intervals around a fixed axis. Rotary tables are most commonly mounted “flat”, with the table rotating around a vertical axis, in the same plane as the cutter of a vertical milling machine. An alternate setup is to mount the rotary table on its end (or mount it “flat” on a 90° angle plate), so that it rotates about a horizontal axis. To create large-diameter holes, via milling in a circular tool path, on small milling machines that don’t have the power to drive large twist drills (>0.500/>13 mm). Enco 10 Vertical / Horizontal Precision Rotary Table
This rotary table is in excellent operating condition. It was not operating well when I bought it. I tore it down to its individual pieces, cleaned, lubricated and reassembled it. It now functions beautifully. The table is in excellent condition. There is no tooling damage whatsoever. This model has a feature that locks into a detent every 15 degrees. There is no moving the table when locked into the detent position. The table can be used in the horizontal or vertical positions. As you can see in the pictures that dials are excellent and easy to read. The worm gear and planetary gear have fresh grease and it operates perfectly. The function to move the worm in and out of engaging the planetary gear also works perfectly. The paint is pealing badly. Other than that, it’s a great item. Item weight is 114 lbs.
