Designed for horizontal or vertical use, Johnson’s Self-leveling Leveling Rotary Laser System is designed for accomplished homeowners and tradesmen working both indoors and outdoors. Preparing it for use is easy: simply unlock the transportation lock and turn it on, and the laser levels itself in the X or Y axis. This rotary laser projects a red beam of light 360, with versatility allowing for three rotational speeds of 200, 400 and 600 RPM. Slower rotational speeds enhance beam visibility, while the higher speed is preferred for outdoor use with a detector. In the horizontal plane the laser is self-leveling, and in vertical applications it is manually leveled. The durable, high-impact composite housing is jobsite tough with an enclosed beacon that protects the inner mechanism from water and dirt. For outdoor use, this system also includes a red beam laser detector with a grade rod and grade rod mounting bracket.
