Phase II 8 CNC Rotary Table
Phase II 8 CNC Rotary Table. This is a new table with a new NEMA 34 stepper motor adapted to it. The coaxial motor mount allows the eccentric worm support to still operate and the original slip-ring graduated dial (and the worm clamp) are retained. The rated accuracy is loosely defined by Phase II to be 80 which I take to be +/-40 arc seconds. The motor, when used with a stepper driver configured for 20,000 pulses per revolution, gives 0.001 degree resolution. Depending on how carefully you calibrate the table, it can easily repeat and position to well under +/- 40 arc seconds. Original hand-crank and vernier scale included. The 8 table is the perfect size for a Bridgeport-scale machine. This is newly constructed in a working shop where these converted tables are used routinely. T-nuts and lifting eye-bolts included. 6-foot, 4-conductor 16 gauge cable included. Note: Only the table and motor are included -no CNC Controller or Stepper Driver is included. TROYKE U-12 Horizontal & Vertical Precision Rotary Table 12 Table Top
The table has a fair number of drill marks and has a long gouge from a 3/4 end mill about. The locking handle is just a 3/8 bolt. The unit mechanism is excellent. The table movement is free and easy in both the horizontal and vertical positions. The worm shaft is straight. Many of these have bent shafts from resting on their handles.
